‘A Kid From Queens’

by Sammy Anzer

Sammy’s full-length debut album follows the success of his chart-topping co-debut album Residual Income. In this outing, expect bold, racially charged humor, sharp introspection, and clever commentary on navigating America’s society through the lens of Sammy’s multi-racial experience.

At Public School 220 off the Horace Harding Expressway, joking with friends from all walks of life was just part of the culture—and Sammy embraced it wholeheartedly. Now, as a touring comic eager to meet the world, mic in hand, he delivers performances that are as thought-provoking as they are hilarious.

Who is fine art for and how are you allowed to talk about it? Armed with only a sense of humor and curiosity Sammy Anzer, laughs and learns about fine art with his comedian friends. Comedians Talk Art opens an access point that is joyful, safe, and celebrates not-knowing as central to learning. Asking why artists paint “charcuterie set-ups”—and finding out it’s called a “still life”—isn’t just a laugh line; it’s an entryway into authentic art appreciation.

Anzer has brought authentic marketing content to institutions such as The Denver Art Museum, The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and many galleries. Recently, Comedians Talk Art has been selected to showcase by the Yes And Laughter Lab in NYC where some sponsors are: NBC, Netflix, and Comedy Central. If you also want to open the ivory tower and build a bridge between the art world and the comedy world, email Sammy.
